Our debt collections department is celebrating its first anniversary . To date we have successfully recovered nearly one and a half million pounds for our commercial clients.

HSBC have and have expanded their panel to about 900 firms. Still a lot less that the 12,000 at the beginning of the year!!

Acting on behalf of the seller we concluded the sale of a large Leeds city Centre Block of apartments at premium of nearly two million pounds.

This has been a busy month for our conveyancing department with a 50%increase in new instructions and exchanges on new builds for developer clients on sites in Swillington (Leeds) and Langsett (Sheffield).

We have being appointed sole debt collection solicitors for a major supplier to the Southern Irish decorative trade. To facilitate this service we can now recover in Euro's and make payment of recovered monies direct to clients in Euro's.

Our free legal advice clinic at our Rothwell branch celebrated its 1st anniversary and to date has provided over 150 hours of free legal advice.

We are now able, along with industry providers, to carry out title checks and Lease advice for Householders and installers of Solar Panels this includes ensuring the lease complies with the Council of Mortgage Lenders requirements.

This is essential for householders wanting to ensure the additon of solar panels does not create unforeseen problems with either their existing mortgage lender or new lenders in the future.
